Autism Evaluations (ADOS-2 Gold Standard):
I offer a comprehensive medical/physical and ADOS evaluation for families with exceptional children, specifically those with concerns regarding autism spectrum. If your child is different from their same-aged peers, is struggling to behave, make friends or succeed, and you are a parent looking for help with a diagnosis and recommendations, you have come to the right place! I am generally able to see children within about 2-3 weeks.
What to expect:
- Call to schedule your in-person Appointment.
- Complete the Parent questionnaire and the MCHAT form and email back to admin@pediatricpod.com
- We will then set up a 20–30-minute Parent interview via telemedicine to discuss your child’s medical, developmental, and behavioral history and your concerns. This Appointment needs to be before the in-person appointment.
- In-person Appointment: 40-60 minutes: Child interaction and standardized evaluation using ADOS -2. If your child allows, we may do a physical exam.
- About 2-3 weeks later, we will set up a 20-minute video call to review results and recommendations.
- You can collect a copy of the Report, MCHAT, DSM 5 criteria, ADOS -2 score and Recommendations after the follow up video call.
Fee for Service:
Pediatric Pod is a self-pay clinic (Direct Pay Model) and accepts credit and debit cards. Each consultation includes an average of 1.5 -2 hours of face-to-face physician time, complete note with developmental testing, diagnoses, and recommendations. Please call the office for pricing.
