Complimentary Prenatal Meet and Greet: Learn about what to expect after the delivery of your baby. If you like what you hear you can pre-register to join our practice and know that your pediatrician will be available as soon as your baby arrives.

*All patients should have insurance to cover costs like lab, prescriptions, vaccines, referrals, and urgent care.
*For our uninsured patients we can vaccinate using the VFC state vaccines and discounted lab/pharmacy/imaging rates are available.
How does it work?
Step 1:
Call our office at 713-669-1900 to Schedule a free 15-minute Meet & Greet (via video call or in person) with Dr. Khanum
Step 2:
Make the decision to invest in your child’s health and get the care your child deserves by joining Pediatric Pod Concierge Pediatrics.
Step 3:
Complete our online Contract.
Step 4:
We request that you send any relevant medical records from your previous doctors to prepare for your child’s first visit to admin@pediatricpod.com.
Step 5:
Schedule your child’s first 30-45 minute Well Check Appointment with Dr. Khanum in our calm, inviting medical space. You will be added to our online portal and Direct text clinic the day of your first appointment.
Step 6:
Arrive at your visit and get started with no wait, no copay.
Why Membership?
A Concierge experience with Simple Billing
Our model allows us to take care of a much smaller number of patients (a few hundred) & provide longer appointments, better availability and more personalized care. We make decisions based on what is best for Your child.
A doctor who's always available
How many times have you had to take your child to urgent care because no appointments were available as a typical traditional pediatric practice has very large patient panels (north of 2500 patients). Do you know that most urgent care facilities are staffed by providers that are not pediatricians.
Peace of Mind
Simply knowing that you can call or text your doctor directly at any time if issues arise has great value. It gives you the peace of mind of knowing you’re in good hands & have a reliable source of medical advice.
What’s Included ?
Your flat monthly membership fee covers all your office visits, virtual visits and follow-up communication (review of test results, treatment recommendations and coordination of referrals to specialists). It also gives you Direct access to your doctor via secure call and text.
Think of your monthly fee like a gym membership. It is an investment in the health of your child, and you can use it as much or as little as you choose.
What is the cost ?
Membership Pricing
To join our practice, you’ll pay an initial registration fee of $150 per family, then a set monthly membership fee for each child based on age.
Age: Newborn till 2 years
$175/month
Ages: 3 years till 6 years
$150/month
Ages: 7 years till college
$125/month
For more than 3 children there will be a maximum charge of $375/month per family.
No long-term commitment is required. We request a 30-day notice for membership terminations.

In case of an Emergency where do I go ?
After Hours Emergency:
CALL 911 – For life-threatening medical emergencies.
Pediatric Emergency Room: A child with difficulty breathing, Infants under 2 months with fever (more than 100.4F), Children less than 2 years of age with fever over 104, Laceration repairs and possible broken bones.
